XTA MX36 provides the right solution for California’s Oxbow RiverStage
XTA's background in live production audio has given them a wealth of knowledge in just what’s required to produce the highest quality audio with the best processing and simplest, stress-free control. Paired with its sibling, MC2 Audio, for the past 12 years, XTA is able to produce power amplifiers that represent the pinnacle of processing, control and amplification.
The APA Series—Adaptive Processing Amplification—is an excellent example of XTA’s ingenuity. As four-channel, Class D amplifiers with extensive processing, connectivity and control capabilities, the power and DSP platforms are designed to interact intelligently and adapt to prevailing conditions, protecting drivers, and significantly enhancing performance from all speaker systems. APA’s power and processing platform tightly integrates with its power supply featuring 96k A/D converters, not only on the analog inputs, but also directly at the speaker outputs, monitoring voltage and current. Inputs and outputs are simultaneously being processed by the DSP, along with data about the mains supply, allowing APA to adapt and correct to keep your music sounding better than ever.
Amplifier/processors certainly aren’t the only things that XTA excels at. Designed to offer a solution to the longstanding problem of routing multiple mixing console outputs to a system processor and/or loudspeaker system, XTA’s new MX36 DSP-Enabled Console Switching System can potentially accommodate as many as nine consoles via 36 inputs across Analog, AES and Dante networks. Housed in a 2U chassis, inputs are arranged in sets of four to support standard left, right, front-fill and sub feeds from each individual console. All AES inputs have sample-rate conversion, and there is one set of four outputs, available simultaneously across Analog, AES and Dante networks, with word clock output sync available on AES.
